Éléphant 10Czech-style Lager
3.8% alc /vol
Serving temperature: 7-9˚C
Result: light caramel flavour and a fresh, hops finish.
Éléphant 10˚ is the flagship beer of the éléphant project, which explores European brewing traditions of lower alcohol beer.
10˚ refers to the original density, which means the sugar level prior to fermentation. In Czech pubs (Hospoda), beer lovers order it by saying: ’10 prozim!’
This light beer compares favourably to its cousin, the Černá. The full-bodied, malted taste disguises the low alcohol content. The Saaz hops finish adds a touch of freshness, making it a refreshing choice on a hot, summer day.
Since it requires less malt, it is available at a lower price.
